The greatest inspiration for this painting are the works of dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. Influences can be seen in the subject matter, composition and ‘mostly dark’ symbols. Although the symbols are loaded with perdition, danger and evil, they often come with a laugh. So, despite the dark side of the painting, there are a lot of laughable twists and a ray of hope from prosperity and resurrection.
